This is the best hostel that I have
ever stayed in.
The staff are so nice and very helpful. Everything
is so clean and you have a wonderful breakfast in
the morning as well as many hot drinks that you want.
There is a beautiful park and lake which is just a few
minutes away. There is also a newly built shopping
centre which is by the park. The centre of town is just
a few stops away from the nearby metro. The place
is also in a very safe part of town and also has fast free

It's a lovely little place, short walk from
the metro. (Bucharest's metro system is
really cheap.) It was really nice to have
a room all to myself, especially since it
cost the same as a bed in a dorm!
Constantine is really friendly and helpful,
and his omelette breakfast is delicious!
I did find the mattress a bit too soft
(which is okay if you like that sort of thing),
and the pressure from the shower head
wasn't the greatest. But perhaps I was
using the wrong one? Regardless, it

Host Tina may be recommended to all those
who want to find a nice place to stay away
from the crowds. Located in the neighbourhood
3 underground stops away from Piata Unirii,
with a friendly host who may give you a lot of
hints if you feel lost in the city. Still, even
though it is further than other locations, you
can come back even quite late without trouble,
Dristor area seems to be a safe place in Bucharest.
It was a very cosy and pleasant stay - ideal for single
travellers and couples, with a nice host and delicious
breakfasts. No limits on when you come back. Seems
to be quite far away from the centre but in fact it is not
- it takes you 10 min to the metro and then 10 min to
Piata Unirii. If you come for the game at Arena Nationala
- the location is also good! The area is safe.

Not so much a hostel environmemt but more like
entering a home! Constantin is a wonderful guy.
Friendly and gives advice and maps for Bucharest.
Nice quiet place to relax. Very clean. A little far
away from the center but close to the metro and
a huge modern mall and supermarket. Free
omelette breakfast every morning. I'd recommend

It has been a relief after a month
of traveling through Europe to
arrive in Constantine's care.
After a long day of travel he
showed me to my room and
offered to bring me a cup of
tea to my room. I happily accepted.
After a quiet night's sleep
he prepared a wonderful breakfast
of cheese omelette with sides of
fresh tomato, cucumber and two
slices of bread.
While it's not your typical hostel,
it's more of a guest house located
in an apartment building, it's a
wonderful look into life here in Bucharest.
Constantine is friendly, warm,
and a pleasure to talk to. I very
much enjoyed his company while
he prepared breakfast and appreciate
his generous hospitality. Even letting
me stay a few hours after checkout while
I wait for my friends!
My many thanks to a wonderful host!
recommend this tiny hostel. It is located
in the multifamily housing district nearby
the beautiful park. To find it, you have to
precisely follow the hostel instructions.
The place is safe. The owner is very helpful
and serves tasty omelette. Best value for money.

and his mother are both wonderful
host and friendly. When arrived at the hotel
Tina was greeted by Constantin and provide
me with information for metro times, local maps
and recommend places to visit. The apartment
was very quite, clean and tidy, the room was
comfortable and provide towels and access to
fast WiFi. I would recommend to have the home
made breakfast in the morning and this will keep
you full for the morning! I would come and stay
here again if visiting the city

Constantin was the best host I've
and I've been in many accommodations before!
He gave a lot of tips on what to do around the city,
provided a clean and calm environment and also
made an excelent breakfast! His omelettes are
amazing, totally worth it already for that! As a young
female and solo traveller, I couldn't expect a better
place :D Thank you very much for the delightful stay
and I'm definitely recommending for my friends!

Had a great time exploring Bucharest
from Tina Host. It is a bit farther from
the Old City than most hostels but on
the plus side there is a beautiful park
right next to it - perfect for a morning run!

Fantastic stay at Host Tina!
We came in late on the train from Kiev,
and were immediately greeted with a
restful and rejuvenating atmosphere.
Our host was incredibly attentive and
helpful in recommending places to go,
things to see, and how to get everywhere
we wanted to go. Homemade breakfast
every morning was AMAZING, and a great
time to collect ourselves and plan out the day.
Stayed here for several days in early August.
As the title
suggests you are pretty much staying in a
(Constantine also shares this place with I
assume his mother..)
converted into a "b&b".
Luckily When we were there it was pretty
quiet because despite
being small it could sleep up to potentially
6 (+2 owners/occupiers)
to share 1 bathroom. There's a kitchen but
it's not really a place
suitable for self catering.
It's located in the suburbs in a large apartment
(apartment is on 9th floor) so it's a bit of a
mission to get to and find
when you first arrive. Several metro station
stops from main train
station and city plus a decent 10/15min walk.
Therefore when you
head into the town centre you are pretty much
committing your entire
day there. It is however a very safe neighbourhood
had no concerns
walking around at night and has everything you
could need in terms
of supermarkets pharmacies etc
I do need to point out that the owner is lovely,
helpful, charming in a
way and multiple notes in the "b&b" attest to it.
even with the pricing, I'm pretty sure you can find
